I join you all in feeling like our wings are clipped as travel has ground to a screeching halt. In the meantime, there are some wonderful virtual tours online of any sight you can imagine! If you want help finding just the right virtual tour (often there is a small charge to help the guides in this difficult time), I’ll point you in the right direction.
With great anticipation and optimism, several wonderful tours are in the works. Even though it is just a tad too early to register for these tours, I invite you to be placed on the interest list to be given first chance at signing up for these tours. Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Highlights will include Historic Virginia Garden Week events in the Richmond area while staying in the center of Richmond for three nights. We then travel to the Charlottesville area with our highlights including Monticello and a day with Cole Burrell who will spend the day with us showing us his favorite private gardens, including lunch at his garden
We will pack a lot into four days! Staying three nights at the Inn at Mendenhall, we will visit Meadowbrook Farm, Longwood Gardens, Scott Arboretum, Chanticleer, Winterthur, Brandywine Cottage, Hortulus Farm & Garden plus spend time at Hedgeleigh Spring with the owner Charles Cresson while sipping a glass of wine! Dinner each night is included, too!
We will explore 5 National Parks—Grand Canyon, Arches, Capitol Reef, Bryce & Zion! The time of year will be comfortable for touring and we will see so much! From a jeep tour in Sedona to a private tour of Antelope Slot Canyon, there is a lot packed into this tour. A cowboy dinner will entertain us one night and we will also learn about the WWII.
