Wallingford Garden Club: Birds of Prey

Wallingford Garden Club presents Maggie Watson, Teacher-Naturalist at Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center, leading educational programs for youth and adult groups as well as co-creating the Ask the Naturalist video series.  She also assists the Fairfield Nature Center as a raptor handler and educator. Maggie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife and Conservation Biology from University of Rhode Island.  She will present a program on “Birds of Prey”

Held at First Congregational Church, 23 South Main Street in large meeting room at back door.  There is parking behind the church as well as a larger lot in back of Town Hall.  The two lots merge.

Guest speaker is at 11:00 followed by social time and BYO bag lunch.  Dessert, coffee and tea will be provided by Hospitality Committee.

Business meeting will follow at 1:00 with reports from Horticulture, Environment/Conservation and Floral Design as well as other gardening news.
