‘Ticks and Tick-borne Diseases’ – Orchard Valley Garden Club

Dr. Megan A. Linske will educate our members and guests all about Ticks and Tick-borne Diseases. Dr. Linske currently works the CT Agricultural Experiment Station. She earned her Ph.D. in Natural Resources and the Environment at UCONN in 2017. Her areas of research in part, include monitoring tick abundances, tick testing for human pathogens, climate impacts on tick populations and assessing available tick control strategies. This will be helpful as gardening season approaches.
