The World of Peonies – CT Horticultural Society

‘The World of Peonies’ covers basic botany and cultivation history of the various types of peonies (tree, herbaceous and intersectional) in China, Japan, and the US. The talk also includes propagation and cultivation how to, as well as ideas on using peonies in the landscape.
Dan Furman is co-owner of Cricket Hill Garden, a second-generation specialty nursery and forest farm, in Thomaston, CT. Since joining the business in 2010, he has worked to expand the peony production program at the nursery, as well as diversify the stock grown to include unusual landscape and forest edibles.

This event will be offered live at Emanuel Synagogue and via Zoom. Please register for the Zoom link.
