North Haven Garden Club will present Ginny Apple, a CT DEEP Master Wildlife Conservationist. She lives near Peoples State  Forest where she is able to observe large populations of Black Bears.  She supplies field notes/photo to DEEP bear biologists.

Ginny’s presentation will focus on the black bears natural history in CT, an overview of black bear’s habit, diet, behavior, reproduction and current research efforts.  She will discuss recommendations for coexistence with our black bear population.

Program will begin at 7:30 with refreshments available after the program.
