‘Native Deciduous Azaleas’ – Connecticut College Arboretum – a talk

May 18 • 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

$10

Mary Villa, retired Curator of the Connecticut College Arboretum will speak about the native azalea collection located in the Arboretum. Meet in New London Hall, room 101 on the Connecticut College campus.

One week later, a tour of the azaleas in bloom will be conducted.

“The nationally accredited Nancy Moss Fine Azalea Garden displays 18 different types of deciduous azalea indigenous to eastern North America. At least one species can be found in bloom from late April through mid-August. This tour coincides with what we anticipate will be peak bloom time, so you are sure to experience a variety of fragrance and color.”

Please register here. The event is free for Arboretum and Wild Ones members, and $10 for guests. The $10 fee covers both the talk and the tour.
