‘Native Deciduous Azaleas’ – Connecticut College Arboretum – a tour

May 25 • 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

$10

Mary Villa, retired Curator of the Connecticut College Arboretum will lead a tour of the native azalea collection located in the Arboretum.

Meet at the Arboretum’s Native Plant Collection entrance on Williams Street. The Arboretum entrance is at 830 Williams St. (Google Maps GPS: 41.378452, -72.108972).

“The nationally accredited Nancy Moss Fine Azalea Garden displays 18 different types of deciduous azalea indigenous to eastern North America. At least one species can be found in bloom from late April through mid-August. This tour coincides with what we anticipate will be peak bloom time, so you are sure to experience a variety of fragrance and color.”

Please register here. The event is free for Arboretum and Wild Ones members, and $10 for guests. The $10 fee covers both the talk and the tour.
