Improving Native Meadows and Fields with Native Plants, Peter Picone, DEEP

Come learn about the native plants that attract a diversity of wildlife including beneficial pollinators, hummingbirds, wild turkeys, gold finches and even possibly the Eastern Box Turtles.

Mr. Picone will share several examples of how you can improve your own small meadow or a larger publicly owned parcel of land. Native plants can provide seasonal food and cover resources that are used in spring, summer, fall and winter periods.

Mr. Picone’s presentation will be packed with interesting facts about the inextricable link between native plants and wildlife.
