“Growing Irises in New England” by speaker Ruth Bennett. Her program emphasizes irises hybridized here in New England while discussing iris culture. Of the many different iris species available to gardeners in CT, Ruth shows how interspecies crosses have given even a wider range of garden plants to choose from. Many newer irises are available for a wide range of culture conditions and hardy enough for our CT climate.
