Fine Arts and Flowers: Wallingford Garden Club

Wallingford Garden Club will host a Flower Exhibit called “Fine Arts and Flowers and Verse” co sponsored and held at the Wallingford Senior Center on June 6 and 7.  Twenty members of the Wallingford Garden Club will complete floral designs that will interpret paintings and sculpture.  Poems will accompany both the art and flowers and will be provided by the Saturday Morning Poetry Group from the Wallingford Public Library.  This show honors the late Marilyn Ollayos who left generous bequests to the Senior Center, Garden Club and Library.  The show is free and open to the public on Friday, June 6 from 5:00-7:00 and Saturday, June 7 from 10:00-1:00.  The Wallingford Senior Center is located at 238 Washington Street.
