Thought about entering a flower show? Design division sends shivers down your spine? Crafting skills are your strong point? Then, Artistic Crafts now in the Botanical Arts division, is for you!
The Floral Industry is focusing on crafting products and techniques. Common basket reed became midollino creating enclosed space, beads strung onto bear grass imitates morning dew and yarn brings architectural form.
In this “Crowning Glory” workshop, you will be incorporating the Principles and Elements of Design as well as your crafting expertise to create a spectacular floral headpiece. Sign up and bring your crafting skills.
Included is a lecture, followed by a hands-on workshop, and critique. Critiques are done in small groups by the instructor and other accredited judges to aid participants in improving their design skills. The cost per session of $40 covers all materials. If the workshop is sold out or you prefer, we welcome you to enroll as an observer at no charge.
