“An introduction to Apiculture (Bee Keeping)”
Gretchen Biemsderfer is another multi-talented garden club member who happens to be a beekeeper. She will take us virtually to her backyard, where she has been beekeeping for the past 15 years. As a keeper, she does not use pesticides and her property is part of the local the Pollinator Pathway. Her bees have inspired her to transition her backyard into a wildflower meadow. In her own words, “Honey is messy but a lot of fun.”
