Landscape Design Council

The purpose of the Landscape Design Council is to provide continuing education for its members and to promote the use of good design principles in our own landscapes and in the community beyond.  It is made up of Consultants who have successfully completed all four courses of the Landscape Design Study School as well as Provisional members who have completed at least two courses. Members can pay Council dues and update their personal information Online Here.

Events include programs with speakers on a variety of topics as well as interesting tours of private & public gardens.  Our travels together provide opportunities to connect with fellow Council members, who come from garden clubs throughout the state, and give us a chance to learn from each other while discussing the places we have been.  Consultants also serve as judges for the landscape displays at the annual Connecticut Flower Show
