NORTH HAVEN GARDEN CLUB ANNOUNCES POETRY CONTEST WINNERS FROM NGC 2025 CONTESTby Cindy Golia, North Haven Garden Club PublicityIt is with great pleasure to announce the winning poems from the North Haven Garden Club Annual Poetry Contest in conjunction with the National Garden Club Poetry Contest for 2025 – with the theme “MY GARDEN HAS VEGETABLES TO SPARE THAT I CAN SHARE- HELPING FIGHT HUNGER BY SHARING VEGETABLES FROM OUT GARDEN.” Savanna Alleyne, Sean Alleyne, Samantha Alleyne, Regina Kim and James Kim were presented a certificate and a gift card from the North Haven Garden Club. All poems were submitted to the Federated Garden Club for judging, Savanna, Samantha, Sean, and James poems won at that level and were then submitted to New England Garden Clubs. The winning poems from New England Garden Club were by Savanna Alleyne , Samantha Alleyne and James Kim. The 3 winning poems were submitted to National Garden Cub for judging and all 3 poems won 1st place. They are Savanna Alleyne, Samantha Alleyne and James Kim, each winners poem will be published online in a free digital poetry booklet. Congratulations to all!
