“Ribbon-Cutting” of a Garland of Fresh Flowers and Greens opened the 37th Annual Connecticut Flower & Garden Show.
This morning, a garland of fresh flowers and greens was ceremoniously cut to officially open the “37th annual Connecticut Flower & Garden Show” at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. The theme of the 2018 show is “Breath of Spring”.
One of the Northeast’s largest and most prestigious flower shows, the events run through Sunday, Feb 25. The four-day event features an acre of spectacular landscaped gardens, The Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut , Inc. Standard Flower Show, more than 50 hours of seminars featuring horticulture, dozens of gardening and flower speakers, and hundreds of booths with garden items and gifts for sale.
The colorful garland of flowers and greens was created by Paul Buettner Florist of East Hartford
