Hill-Stead Museum's May Market, 10 am-5 pm
A large selection of annuals, shrubs and hard-to-find perennials, as well as quality crafts and antiques. Some 50 vendors. Expert horticulturalists and Master Gardeners will be on hand for consultation. Friday features “A Bouquet from The Met,” a special 10:30 a.m. presentation by Master Floral Designer Chris Giftos, whose creations graced The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Great Hall for over 30 years. The two-day event will be held rain or shine. Admission is $8 for members and advance sale tickets, $10 for members-to-be at the door.
