2010 UConn Garden Conference, UConn (Storrs)

This all-day conference offers exciting educational opportunities for gardeners from the casual to the Master Gardener. The 2010 conference features a mix of top national speakers and local experts, including Rosalind Creasy, Steve Silk, Karen Bussolini, Lois Berg Stack, and Heather Crawford.

Connecticut Master Gardner Association 2010 Annual Symposium
The Connecticut Master Gardener Association, with the University of Connecticut Extension Service, will be offering a symposium on greenscape gardening.  This day long program, to be held at Manchester Community  College in Manchester, CT, will address the impact gardening and lawn care has on our environment through lectures and demonstrations from area land management and gardening experts. Registration deadline: March 17, 2010. The registration fee, which includes lunch, is $60.00 for Connecticut Master Garden Association members and students, and $80.00 for non-members.  Pre-registration is strongly encouraged as seating is limited and lectures sessions will be assigned on a first come basis. Registrations at the door will be accepted if there is space available.
